After being hit with a spinal cord stroke in November last year, I’ve been left as a quadriplegic ever since. Since coming out from hospital, I was recommended from a colleague to join Prime 1 Care’s team to take care of all my needs. I cannot begin to explain how much effort the team has put in to take care of me, from finding me the best accommodation that caters for me, to helping me set everything up, along with setting up a team of support workers who take care of me 24/7. Huge thanks to Prime 1 Care who’ve gone above and beyond in taking care of me. Without a doubt would recommend to anyone suffering from any major disabilities and require high physical support. ~ Othman A
I don't really do reviews but yeah, I needed to write this one. Living with disability is hard enough without constantly feeling like you're being passed around or half-listened to by people who are meant to be helping. That's been my experience more times than I can count. By the time I found Prime 1 Care I was pretty much done. Didn't trust anyone anymore, figured it was just going to be more of the same. But honestly? First conversation I had with them was just... different. They actually listened. Like properly listened — not just waiting for their turn to talk. They never once made me feel like I was too much or asking for too much. They helped me figure out the NDIS stuff I couldn't wrap my head around, made sure I actually got what I needed, and checked in without me having to chase them down. Sounds basic but it's not something I've had before. It's the little things that got me. Someone calling when I'm having a rough week. Making sure my support worker actually turned up. Just being there when I needed to vent. They've been solid when not much else has been. If you're in that place where you don't know who to trust anymore — I get it.
